Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Convoca, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use the platform.

Description of Service

Convoca is a free event publication and discovery platform for local communities in Portugal. Anyone can publish or discover events without needing to create an account.

Acceptable Use

By publishing an event on Convoca, you agree to abide by the following rules:

It is prohibited to publish illegal events, promote hate speech or discriminatory content, send spam or misleading content, or use the platform for unauthorized commercial purposes.

Convoca reserves the right to remove events that violate these rules, without prior notice.

Age Requirement

To use Convoca, you must be 13 years of age or older. This requirement applies under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Law No. 58/2019, which establish the minimum age for consent to personal data processing in Portugal.

Intellectual Property

Users retain intellectual property rights over the content they publish on Convoca.

By publishing content on Convoca, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display and distribute that content within the scope of the platform.

Convoca's code, brand, and visual elements are the property of the Convoca project and may not be used without prior authorization.

Limitation of Liability

Convoca is provided "as-is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or safety of events published on the platform. Convoca is not responsible for events organized by third parties.

Use of the platform is at the user's own risk.

Changes to Terms

Convoca may update these Terms of Service periodically. Continued use of the platform after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We recommend reviewing this page regularly.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by Portuguese law. Any dispute arising from the use of Convoca shall be submitted to the competent courts of Portugal.
